Planting a Forest

The beautiful illustrations show children a part of what helped the forest grow, and how important nature truly is - with a portion of the proceeds of this book donated to forest preservation. This delightful story begins with the wonder children feel as they watch the dandelion seeds float through the field. One of the little girls makes a dandelion crown and takes on the role of watching over the land. Meanwhile, various wildlife cache nuts and seeds to contribute to the field becoming a forest. Who plants nuts and seeds, what do they grow up to be and who benefits?
